Right then. That's it from the coverage of this game. The Men's Hundred will continue on 23rd August with Oval Invincibles locking horns against Birmingham Phoenix. The first ball will be at 11 pm IST (5.30 pm GMT) but you can join us early for the build-up. Till then, take care and goodbye.
George Garton wins the Man of the Match award for his exceptional spell with the ball. He says that the bowling conditions were good and adds that he was able to make the most of it. Claims that he thought he was off and his pace was a bit down so he focused on his accuracy and swing. Adds that it is a different bowling attack to the one they had last year and his role is different. Claims that it came off for him today. Informs that everyone loves Paul Stirling on and off  the field and he showed how good he is. Adds that wants to take every game as it comes and have fun while playing. Says that last year they won 8 in a row so could do that time as well.
Stay tuned for the presentation...
Earlier in the innings, The Welsh Fire batters got themselves into a massive mess and despite the blitz towards the end the target of 130 was an under-par one. George Garton was the destroyer-in-chief for Southern Brave picking up three huge wickets in the first 10 balls on the innings. In the end, Southern Brave got over the line with ease.
The hosts could have put up some sort of fight if they picked early wickets but all hopes were shattered by Paul Stirling's brilliant innings. None of the bowlers seemed to have enough penetration to bother the batters. They have had a disappointing game as they lost the match in the first innings itself.
Southern Brave put on an exhibition of batting and have reached the target without a stutter. The opening partnership for them was different in this game and oh my, how much have they missed it this season! Paul Stirling came out all guns blazing and gave his partner time to get settled at the wicket. Quinton de Kock got into his groove as the game progressed and the time at the middle would have done wonders for him. He was dismissed after a partnership of 121 runs after getting his side closer to the finish line. Tim David came in and applied the finishing touches.
Southern Brave have won this game convincingly. They never looked to be in any trouble. Welsh Fire tried their best but could not put the opposition in any trouble.
