The action continues on Sunday. Two more games coming up on the 13th of this month. Northern Superchargers will take on Manchester Originals first. Join us for all the action at 7 pm IST (1.30 pm GMT) and earlier for the build up. Cheers.
George Garton is the Player of the Match. He says they wanted to put up a performance like this from the start. Adds with the rain around, helped the wicket and they bowled hard-length on it. Reckons they are pleased with the win and hopes to keep the winning momentum going.
It was the bowlers who made things possible. It was a collective performance from the bowlers of Southern Brave who bowled with so much accuracy that Welsh had no chance to repair their innings. Overton, and Garton all were brilliant but it was Mills' Hat-trick that steal the show. A performance that will boost so much confidence for Southern Brave but Welsh Fire need to regroup quickly and leave this game behind.
A walk in the park for Southern Brave. They have done it with ease. Chasing such a low total, they just needed one stand to take on and it was the openers who did most of the job. Allen fell but Devon Conway and Leus du Plooy did the job in style. It didn't take much for them to chase it down. A really good all-round performance from Southern Brave.
