That is it from this game. We are moving to the business end of the competition. The action continues in the Hundred on 27th August as London Spirit will take on Oval Invincibles at 11.30 pm IST (6 pm GMT). But before that, the Women's team will be in action. So do join us at 8 pm IST (2.30 pm GMT) for all the action. You can join us early for the build up as well. Cheers!
Adam Lyth is the Player of the Match. Says he is very pleased with the win and says that he could have helped the team get over the line a bit more. Appreciates the performance of the bowlers, and says they did a good job. Adds he and Faf du Plessis put on a good stand. Shares there was a bit of dew as it was skidding on. Tells they talked about the net run rate situation but they lost a couple of wickets in the end. Shares that there is one more game to go and hopes to win that.
Earlier in the day, the Chargers were brilliant with the ball as they restricted the hosts to just 114 which they knocked off quite easily. Ben Duckett scored a fifty but the Northern Superchargers bowlers did well to not allow the opposition to run away with a big socre.
The Welsh bowlers were once again let down by their batters. That has been the story for them in the series so far, their batsmen have just not given them enough to defend. They though would have loved to make the opposition work harder for their runs but that was not the case. Ish Sodhi was impressive yet again and that is probably the only positive for them in this innings.
Quite an easy win for the Chargers. Not many would have given Welsh a chance after the way they batted. It was just a total which was well below par and the visitors chased it down without breaking a sweat. The openers did the majority of the good work as they added 75 in decent time. Adam Lyth was the aggressor while Faf du Plessis played second fiddle. Both fell but the game was done and dusted by then. The rest just played sensible cricket and helped their side get over the line in a crucial game. A win has helped Northern Superchargers to stay alive in the competition but they need other resutls to go their way.

OUT! RUN OUT! No communication there! Tossed up on middle. Wiese pushes it straight to covers and calls for a quick single. Wiese was hurling across but Brooks was not interested to complete the run. Josh Cobb there throws it to the keeper who whips the bails and Wiese is out by quite a mile.
