Right then, that's it from this game where Superchargers win a thriller. However, the action continues in the Men's Hundred as the Oval Invincibles take on the Manchester Originals at the Oval in London in a short while from now at 11 pm IST (5.30 pm GMT). Switch your tabs to follow all the action and join us early for the build up. Until then, take care and cheers from us!
David Wiese is the Hero of the Match for his outstanding 54* off 25. He says that it was one of those wickets where you take time to get in and then go on the attack once set. Adds that they tried to target the shorter side and were looking around a total of 140 which they were confident of defending. Mentions that their bowlers were brilliant especially the spinners who squeezed the game in the middle overs. Tells that he just wanted to take that catch of Sams to help the team out and he is happy with the result.
Time for Presentations...
Earlier in the day, Northern Superchargers were put into bat and were in all sorts of trouble early on. They were reduced to 31 for 4 in 26 balls courtesy of Luke Wood who took 3 huge wickets. Saif Zaib and Brydon Carse steadied the innings with a 39-run stand. The dismissal of Zaib got David Wiese to the crease who made all the difference to the Superchargers innings. He added 72 unbeaten runs with Carse and made an outstanding fifty to single handedly take his side to a competitive score. Wood was the pick of the Rockets bowlers while Joe Root bowled a fine spell of 2 for 24 in his 20-ball set. Trent Rockets must be disappointed with this loss as they were ahead for most parts of the game but Northern Superchargers won the key moments and came out victorious.
Wayne Parnell was the pick of the bowlers with a fine spell of 3 for 21 in his 20-ball set. Callum Parkinson and Reece Topley chipped in with two apiece while Adil Rashid kept it tight. The Northern Superchargers were struggling at one stage and were always behind in the game but some late momentum with the bat powered them to a competitive score and they produced a fine comeback with the ball after the halfway mark and got over the line by a thin margin of just three runs.
Phew! What a game we have witnessed! Northern Superchargers have made an incredible comeback and restricted the Trent Rockets to 139 for 7 in a closely contested match at Trent Bridge. Trent Rockets were going well in the chase at 59 for 1 with Colin Munro and Alex Hales at the crease. Parnell pegged them back and reduced the Rockets to 65 for 4. Tom Kohler-Cadmore and Sam Hain did their bit but were dismissed at the wrong time. Daniel Sams and Lewis Gregory too tried their best but the Northern Superchargers were way to good for the home side tonight. Northern Superchargers get their second win and they move to the top of the table.

OUT! TAKEN! Reece Topley strikes! A wicket at the right time for the Northern Superchargers. More importantly, it is a dot ball. Topley serves this full and on middle, slower too, Daniel Sams stays there and goes for the big slog but fails to get under it and mistimes it in the air towards long on where David Wiese runs forward and takes a good catch under pressure. Trent Rockets still need 6 runs off the last 2 balls!

SIX! Lewis Gregory gets into the act now! A great effort in the deep but it goes in vain. This is full and on middle, Lewis Gregory lofts it wide of long on where David Wiese runs to his left and jumps to grab it and throws it inside as he is going over, but he just touches the ropes when the ball is in his hand. The replays confirms the same and the umpire signals a maximum.
