... THE PRESENTATION ...
The Titans didn't have a mountain to climb but their openers, Theunis de Bruyn and Quinton de Kock laid a solid foundation and they kept scoring freely. Both the batters failed to capitalize on the start that they got and perished. It was the rising star of South Africa, Dewald Brevis who came in at number 3 and eased into the chase. He kept the scoreboard ticking and once he got his eye in, he displayed his hitting prowess and saw his team through. The Dolphins didn't start well with the ball as they leaked a lot of runs in the Powerplay. They were well behind the game and needed quick wickets. Thando Ntini did get a couple of wickets but it was too little, too late and his effort with the ball went in vain. The other bowlers went for a lot of runs and Dolphins never really looked like defending the total.
A comfortable victory in the end for the Titans. There were a few hiccups in the middle but it was Dewald Brevis who made sure that they cross the line with 15 balls to spare. The Dolphins didn't have much runs to play with but their bowlers bowled their hearts out and in spite of that had to suffer a defeat in the end.
