Right then, that is all we have from this first semi-final. Titans are our first finalists with a dominating win in this first semi-final. We have a second semi-final coming our way shortly at 6 pm IST (12.30 pm GMT) and it will be Western Province going against Rocks in that encounter. As you know, our coverage will start well in advance. So do join us for the same. Till then, goodbye and cheers!
Theunis de Bruyn, the skipper of Titans, says that it was a fantastic performance and he adds that hopefully they will have one more good game. He recokns that toss was big and it was about execution after that and the bowlers did a brilliant job. Tells that they will follow the same process for the finals like they have followed so far.
Tabraiz Shamsi is the BOWLER OF THE MATCH. He says that seamers upfront made his job easy and the whole bowling unit has been doing the job throughout the tournament. He mentions that today was his day and he got wickets. He hopes that they can put another good performance in the final.
Dewald Brevis is the BATTER OF THE MATCH. He says that it has been wonderful to get into the team setup. He adds that it is nice to adjust to these conditions and he would have liked to get more runs but is happy to contribute. He mentions that he is excited for the final.
Stay tuned for the presentation.
For Dolphins, except for Zondo and Kerwin Mungroo there were no positives. The former helped them get close to 100 and the latter bagged a three fer. Dolphins will be very disappointed with their performance, they just did not turn up on the big occasion.
Quite an easy win for Titans and they now confirm their spot in the final. This was never in doubt to be honest after they restricted the Dolphins for below 100. They did lose a couple of early wickets but it was just the matter of one good partnership or a good innings and it came from Brevis. He did not go all the way but took his side to the brink of victory. Donavon Ferreira and Sibonelo Makhanya ensured there were no more wickets to fall and took their side over the line.
