If you want to dye your hairs, dye them naturally
Gray or white hair is a big problem now a day.
So every hair on your head actually starts off as white, is then colored by a natural pigment called melanin. When your hair grows the melanocytes cells produce melanin. It transfers melanin to each individual hair follicle, which seamlessly colors each strand of hair. And as we age, melanocyte activity slows down and then finally stops and leading to less pigment in the hair. Though, the genetics, hormones, and environmental pollutants can also speed along the graying process. There are many dyes on the market. It is formulated specially to cover gray hair. And the harsh cruel chemicals in these products make gray hair undesirable to those with an eye for maintaining optimal health.
But luckily nature provides us with both internal and external remedies.
Henna is very effective for gray hair.
It is very beautiful reddish-brown dye prepared from the Lawsonia inermis tree. This tree has been used for cosmetic purposes since early times. Henna is used for natural hair color. And henna comes in powder form. It can be mixed with a variety of other natural substances like vinegar, lemon juice, and cloves or fragrant oils before it is applied to hair. It can also be mixed with indigo for a darker color if desired.
So henna should be used frequently to keep its brilliant beautiful color and to successfully mask the gray anywhere from once per week to once a month depending on the depth of color desired.
Tea is also very important for gray hair. Tea is also used for restoring natural color.
The other method for restoring your natural hair color and covering gray hair is to use tea. The Black teas work best for darker hues, chamomile for blondes. It is also used rooibos for redheads.
You should try once a week. Try Steep 3 to 5 teabags in 2 cups of boiling water. Allow it to cool before applying it to your wetted and clean hair. Try mixing it with conditioner is for easier application. And leave it in for a least 1 hour, and bear in mind that the longer it is in your hair, the stronger the color will be. When your gray hair has absorbed the color of the tea then the mixture can be rinsed out.
And make sure to rinse your hair in cool water because hot water will leach color from hair faster than colder water.
