Vladimir Putin expected to visit in to Pakistan in May 2017
ISLAMABAD: Russian President Vladimir Putin is expected to visit Pakistan in May coming year to launch the US$2 billion Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) channel scheme that would facilitate form up the two-sided bonding for the joint profit of Pakistan and Russia, resources told The News on Friday.
“The sophisticated visit is believed to spot the Russian president launch the US$2 billion dollars LNG North-South Pipeline scheme from Karachi to Lahore, which would have the perspective of starting a new period of planned and diplomatic association among the two countries,” the resources said.
The resources said the Pakistani establishments are attempting to confirm the uncertain date for Putin’s visit to Pakistan all the way through the ambassadorial canals and it is likely that Putin would visit Pakistan in May but an administrator proclamation in this aspect would be conducted in April.
