Donald Trump under tried to stop Flynn Investigations
According to some latest news updates from the United States, Donald Trump asked to stop investigations over Michael Flynn case.
Meanwhile, a senior Republican said he will ask for the copies of any documents of James Comey. Every of them he wrote in regard to all his official meetings for the case.
The New York Times claimed that Mr. Trump requested Mr. Comey to cease the case during the meeting at Oval office.
Meanwhile, the newspaper also cited the memo, which is said to be written after the meeting.
According to the source, who asked to keep his name hidden said, he also saw the memo. But he has no authority to talk about that.
White House denied the story right away, and they said the conversation press is not taking the conversation in right context.
White House Statement:
“While the President has repeatedly expressed his view that General Flynn is a decent man who served and protected our country, the President has never asked Mr. Comey or anyone else to end any investigation, including any investigation involving General Flynn.”
The volatile new talks follow a week of turmoil at the White House after Mr. Trump sacked Mr. Comey and then President Donald Trump gave sensitive information to Russian Minister.
Furthermore, this can be the first clear proof that President tried to manipulate the process of investigation over “allegations of Russian influence on the election campaign.”
New York Times also said he tried to collect some proofs about Presidents influence and the paper was part of that.
