That is it from this game then! There is another game which has already started! You can catch all the action by switching tabs. That game is a clash between Chennai and Kolkata. Until next time, take care and goodbye!
Glenn Maxwell has been awarded the PlAYER OF THE MATCH AWARD for his excellent knock with the bat!
Earlier in the day, Bangalore were two down for not a lot after being inserted but Glenn Maxwell and Faf du Plessis added over 100. Both got to their half tons. When they were batting, over 220 looked possible but Rajasthan pulled things back well. They kept the hosts to under 190 but that proved to be a little too much in the end.
For Bangalore, their bowlers bowled well for most parts of the game. Siraj was brilliant at the start and so was Willey. However, the combination of Vyshak Vijay Kumar and Glenn Maxwell leaked runs. They went for almost 50 in the combined 4 overs they bowled and that could have well cost them the game but Harshal and Wanindu Hasaranga were brilliant when they were introduced. Willey too did his job to perfection whenever given a chance. Siraj was a little wayward towards the end but Bangalore still managed to get over the line.
What a game of cricket that was! It kept swinging like a pendulum and in the end, it is the hosts who come out on top. Rajasthan though will be a little disappointed to not get over the line, especially after the partnership between Yashasvi Jaiswal and Devdutt Padikkal! The two, after the loss of Butter early on, batted brilliantly. They took their time and once they got their eye in, went after the bowlers. They added over 90 in no time and turned the tide in their team's favour. Once Devdutt Padikkal fell, it was a procession. Runs were hard to come by and they kept losing wickets whenever they looked to up the ante. Except for Jurel, the middle order did not click and hence, they fell just short.

Just the one to end! Bangalore win by 7 runs! Shorter and outside off, this is cut towards point for one. Excellent comeback from Harshal after going for 10 from the first three balls.

Just the one! The crowd here erupts! They know now a legal ball and they will win it. Shorter and on middle, this is pulled through mid-wicket for one.

OUT! TAKEN! THe slower ball does the trick this time for Harshal Patel. 10 needed from 2 and Jurel is not on strike! A slower one on middle, Ravichandran Ashwin looks to go over the mid-wicket fence but is through the shot early. It goes off the toe-end towards deep mid-wicket and it is taken by Suyash Prabhudessai.

FOUR! 10 from the first three balls and that is exactly what Rajasthan need from the last three. This is full and on the pads. It is flicked past short fine leg. The fielder in the deep, runs to his right and dives but his effort goes in vain.

Two more! Brilliant running! On middle, a yorker, this is jammed out towards mid-wicket and take two.

FOUR! Woah! How did that get to the fence? That is so lucky! It is a slower one outside off. Ravichandran Ashwin is completely foxed by it. He looks to just tap it on the off side, it goes off the top edge over the keeper and down to the third man fence.

NOT OUT! Two in the end! Just the one bail was off and both the bails needed to be off if the batter is to be declared run out. This is shorter and on middle, this is hit down to the left of long on. The fielder runs to his left, picks the ball up, the batters go for two. It is fired to the bowler who whips the bails off. Replays show that before the second bail was dislodged, Ashwin was in. 20 needed in the last over then.
Run out appeal! Ashwin is surely short, the only thing is, does Siraj have the ball in his hand?

SIX! BANG! Gets the biggie! That is some shot. A flat hit. Wow! This is full and on the pads, it is whipped over the square leg fence for a maximum. Jurel keeping his side in this.
