Suryakumar Yadav fell seven runs short of his fifty but Tim David played the role of a finisher to perfection and got his side over the finish line with 14 balls to spare.
This has been a comprehensive win by Mumbai! They have absolutely nailed this run chase and ascertained their superiority over this opposition with their 23rd win in 32 encounters. They now have consecutive wins and the momentum is back in the favour of the hosts after a poor start to their campaign. Kolkata have now lost two consecutive games after the remarkable rescue job pulled off by Rinku Singh and will want need to figure out what is going wrong at the earliest.
