FBI inquiry over Russia links ‘hurts US terribly’, Donald Trump
The appointment of FBI counsel for investigating Russian influence in US elections is hurting the USA terribly, says Donald Trump.
Donald Trump once again denied any relationships with Russian authorities and their influence on his election campaign. He was speaking at a news conference in Washington DC about FBI inquiry.
He said, “The entire thing has been a witch hunt and there is no collusion.”
Yesterday the Attorney General said, Rober Muller Former FBI officer will lead the Donald Trump -Russian inquiry.
The appointment was acknowledged from politicians of both parties.
Earlier everyone asked for special investigations after Mr. Trump fired Mr. Comey.
Donald Trump sacked Mr. Comey and he justified his action by saying, “Director FBI, Mr. Comey was not popular among the colleagues.”
Meanwhile, he also said, “I actually thought when I made that decision… that it would be a bipartisan decision because you look at all of the people on the Democratic side, not only the Republican side, that was saying such terrible things about Director Comey.”
“in the history of USA, no politician has been treated unfairly and worse than me,” Donald Trump.
The declaration of a special counsel made White house surprised, Mr. Trump also informed after the Deputy Attorney General signed the order.
Meanwhile, the Congress and FBI are trying hard to find the links between Mr. Trump’s team and Russia, now the task is given to Mr. Muller.
US intelligence agencies strongly believe Moscow has a hand in Trump election campaign.
Meanwhile, despite Mr. Obama Warned Trump, not to hire Flynn for any high profile position he appointed him as National Security Advisor.
Later he fired him just after 24 days.
Mr. Rosenstein said after appointing Mr. Muller, “The public interest requires me to place this investigation under the authority of a person who exercises a degree of independence from the normal chain of command.”
Meanwhile, Mr. Mueller, who accepted the responsibility and vowed to find the truth said, “I accept this responsibility and will discharge it to the best of my ability.”
