Pirates stole Pirates of the Caribbean, now they demand money

Disney

Hackers stole something valuable from Disney.

Hackers are asking ransom for the movie they stole earlier, but Disney is not ready to pay, according to latest news updates.

Bob Iger, CEO Disney informed the staff about the situation, but he did not reveal the name of the move.

But the next on the list is Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, and it seems to be stolen one.

The hackers are demanding a huge sum of Bitcoin, in another case they are going to release the movie in parts online.

Iger informed they are no ready to pay, but they are in process to resolve the matter with help of federal investigators.

According to latest news updates, the movie is Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales. Disney is all set to release the movie on Friday.

Disney cannot oversee the threats as Netflix faced the same situation last month when episodes of  “Orange Is the New Black” leaked online after Netflix denied to pay the ransom demanded.

“It didn’t have to be this way, Netflix,” that hacker, who goes by the alias thedarkoverlord, said in a message at the time. “You’re going to lose a lot more money in all of this than what our modest offer was.”
