UAE has given approval to Pakistan to export their poultry products
ISLAMABAD: Ministry of Commerce declared on Wednesday that UAE has given approval to Pakistan to export their poultry products.
The UAE has allowed to import day old chicks and hatching eggs form the companies which are licensed for export ministry and keeping attached health documents, authorization to import poultry meat and its products from the slaughter houses that are licensed for export by the UAE per processes followed in this concern and health documentation.
Commerce Minister Engineer Khurram Dastgir Khan said that Pakistan appreciate the exciting of ban on poultry by our long-lasting trade partner and friendly nation UAE.
Khurram Dastgir also valued the collaboration extended by Advisor to Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs Mr. Sartaj Aziz and Minister for National Food Security and Research Mr. Sikandar Hayat Khan Bosan. He praised efforts by Pakistani Ambassador to UAE Moazzam Ahmad Khan and Pakistan Department for Plant Protection and acknowledged Pakistan Poultry Association for their specialized support during latest visit to Pakistan by UAE poultry checkers.
The UAE yearly imports more than $700 million of poultry items, a marketplace from which Pakistan was banded for 8 years.
Lifting of the prohibition will open this marketplace for Pakistani exporters who have made admirable technological growth in current years.
