Tax dodging multinational companies hit with $3b bill

7 of the world’s largest companies are targeted for dodging taxes in Australia.

According to the latest news updates the multinational companies, including Apple, Microsoft and tech giants Google are facing a bill of $3 billion for unpaid taxes.

However, According to the reports, the Australian Tax Office is demanding $250 to $800 million from every company.

Moreover on the list are mining groups BHP Billiton and Rio Tinto as well Crown, Singtel, Chevron, Glencore and Shell.

It has believed some of the multinational-companies are planning a battle in court against the bills. But the Australian Tax Office says there will be no sweet heart agreements for the companies.
