Lahore Qalandars has become the 1st team to reach 200 run mark in the 2nd Pakistan Super League here at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium on Saturday.
Lahore Qalandars sent into bat by Quetta Gladiators.
The Lahore Qalandars made exact 200 runs for the loss of 3 wickets in the allotted 20 over’s.
Jason Roy the opener completed half century of the innings, with hitting 51 off 27 balls with 6 fours 3 sixes.
But, his partner Fakhar Zaman scored 47 off 31 balls with 6 fours and 1 six.
Both players provided a good start of 77 runs before Cameron Delport, Mohammad Rizwan.
And they added the same total for an unbeaten fourth wicket partnership.
So In between, Umar Akmal could make 17.
Mohammad Rizwan remained not out on 46, scored off 28 balls with 4 sixes, 1 four.
Although Delport was not out on 35,he made off 21 balls with 3 sixes and 1 four.
In Last season Lahore Qalandars ran up 201 against Quetta Gladiators
And still came up short, in a last ball thriller.
It is very interesting to note that Lahore had scored 1st 200 in the first PSL.
And now they the first 200 in the 2nd edition of PSL 2017.
