France urges Turkey and European Union states to ease tensions

PARIS: France advised several European Union member states and Turkey to quiet tensions. And said there had been no reason to ban a meeting on its earth on Sunday between a local Turkish association and Ankara’s foreign minister.

Turkey’s Foreign Minister communicated a public meeting in eastern France on Sunday. A day after the Netherlands banded his airplane from landing in a row over Ankara’s political campaigning among Turkey’s emigres.

However, The Foreign Ministry said in the statement that in the absence of an upheld risk to public order. There was no-reason to ban the meeting.
