Dr Farooq Sattar cried foul with regard to the population census that is about to be held on Monday.

He was claiming that the population of Sindh was being shown lesser on paper than its actual size. Dr Farooq Sattar is the name of MQM-Pakistan chief. The former city nazim was Farooq Sattar too.

Dr Sattar was Speaking to media about this topic. Farooq stated that according to a plan,population census was being conducted first in Karachi. And after that Hyderabad and Mirpurkhas before being held in the rest of the province.

He said census should be carried out across the entire province at the same time. He insisted. We have asked Nawaz Sharif, Ishaq Dar and the head of the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics to make sure this. Dr added. Sattar alleged that a plot had been hatched.

According to plot population of Karachi, Mirpukhas and Hyderabad is being wrongly shown less on paper. As opposed to what it actually is. Further stated that owing to this, the people from these three cities were facing difficulties in securing jobs. People were being denied their basic rights.

So the first four censuses were duly conducted in the years 1951, 1961, 1972 and 1981. While there was a gap of 17 years after which the 5th census took place in 1998. Now the national population census will start from March 15. While in this censuses will involve 200,000 army personnel. As well as 91,000 civilian enumerators.
